In the talk titled "Can a University Student Prevent the Extinction of a Heirloom Seed Species?", organized for World Environment Day, we will listen to the story of Fırat Karakurt, a 2nd year Computer Engineering student at our university, and the story of his pursuit of ancestral seeds unique to the region he lives in. In this story, we will talk about many aspects of his journey, from his quest for the seed, his struggle with waste, the difficulties he faced, to his future plans on this subject.
